Capgemini - WeKare

WeKare is a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative for the associates of Capgemini India. The focus of this initiative is to make a difference in the lives of the people who are less privileged.

WeKare was started at Pune in 2004, when a group of associates from the Business Analyst’s training batch wanted to take up a social initiative. Since then, WeKare has grown in leaps and bounds. The sole intent of this initiative— giving back to the society—is not guided by any business motive. WeKare is driven by the senior leadership in the organization and executed by committed group of associates. All activities under this project are subjected to seamless communication, annual audit, and total transparency with all associates in the organization.

Under the WeKare banner we have a partnership with 30+ organizations working in the areas of Education, Environment and Employment. We help these organizations in many ways – funding, volunteering, marketing, creating websites, articles, blogs, newsletters etc. We carry out these activities in all the seven locations across India

– Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata
